- 07:30 – Departure from Almaty. We will pick you up from the specified address.
- 09:15 – Short stop in Chilik village (coffee, snacks).
- 10:30 – Arrival at the Valley of Castles. 2,5 km of trekking to the bank of Charyn river.
- 11:30 – Return, panoramic point overlooking the canyon.
- 13:00 – Drive to the right bank of Charyn river (15 km off-road).
- 13:30 – Stop at the Moon Canyon, photo session, lunch snack.
- 15:15 – Panoramic point the Stone Shelf.
- 16:00 – Visit to Napoleon location (ask the guide why it is so named! 😉).
- 16:30 – Final stop is the panoramic the Austrian spot location.
- 17:00 – Return journey to Almaty.
- 20:00 – Arrival in the city.

Maxim, my guide, was so polite and professional, perfect English and a good, comfortable SUV. Rustem, the nomad with the herd of horses, entrusted me with his best horse and took me on by far the most impressive and very fast ride of my life to Kolsoy Lake 2. The support from Azamat in advance was also perfect because everything in April was extremely weather dependent and we had to shorten/postpone the trip. He was available 24/7 via what's app, super nice and 100% responsive to my wishes, it couldn't be better. That's why I booked another family trip through Azamat in September 2023 to show my family the beautiful, breathtaking nature of Kazakhstan.
